## Summary

**Would allow NASA to transport returning officers or employees before they receive post-flight medical driving clearance when medical care or official duties require it.** It would add a new paragraph to 31 U.S.C. 1344(b) permitting transport for medical research, monitoring, diagnosis, treatment, or other official duties as approved by the NASA Administrator. NASA would report to specified House and Senate committees within one year and annually after. Each report must list each transported person, a description of the transportation, costs per trip, the total number of trips, and the total cost for the prior 12 months. *It would not authorize additional appropriations to carry out this authority.*
