## Summary

**Restores USDA authority to use M-44 cyanide ejectors and compound 1080.** This bill would rescind the Master Memorandum of Understanding BLM-MOU-HQ230-2023-05 and allow the Secretary of Agriculture to purchase, deploy, and train third parties on M-44 sodium cyanide ejector devices and sodium fluoroacetate, commonly called compound 1080. - Ranchers and farmers: Would see increased USDA-backed options for wildlife damage management through use of M-44 devices and compound 1080. - USDA and contractors: The Secretary could buy M-44s and 1080 and train third parties to deploy and operate them. - Congressional oversight: Removes the requirement that the Secretary provide updates to congressional committees, including House and Senate Appropriations committees, on implementation of the prior prohibition.
