**Creates modular facilities to rear and disperse sterile New World screwworm flies to reduce the risk of infestations.** This bill would require the Department of Agriculture to build and operate rearing sites and actively disperse sterile flies into areas judged at risk. - Farmers and livestock producers: Would get a targeted tool to lower the threat of screwworm infestations that can harm animals and crops. - U.S. Department of Agriculture staff and operations: Would have to begin construction within 180 days and run modular facilities that rear sterile flies and disperse them, plus report on activities and effectiveness. - States and regions at risk: Facilities would be placed in areas the Secretary determines are at risk, enabling dispersal to nearby vulnerable zones. *Would authorize $300 million in appropriations to carry out the program.*
