## Summary

This bill would establish the INvestigation of Co-occurring conditions across the Lifespan to Understand Down syndromE Project, or **INCLUDE Project**, at the National Institutes of Health to coordinate and expand Down syndrome research across the lifespan. - Families and caregivers: Funds research to improve diagnosis, treatment, and daily living supports and to study co-occurring conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease. - Researchers and clinical trials: Promotes high-risk, high-reward studies, cohort research, and more clinical trials that are inclusive of or focused on people with Down syndrome. - NIH coordination and oversight: Directs the NIH Director to coordinate work across institutes, avoid duplicate research, consult stakeholders, and provide biennial reports to Congress listing involved institutes and any real-world evidence used.
