## Summary

**Better visibility of VA loan terms in FHA disclosures.** This bill would require FHA borrower disclosures to include information about VA home loans and would add a military service question to the Uniform Residential Loan Application. - Prospective borrowers, including veterans: Would see VA home loan information in the Informed Consumer Choice Disclosure when weighing FHA options, including a note that prevailing interest rates may apply to VA-guaranteed loans. - Military applicants and households: Each enterprise would add a military service question to the URLA and place it above the signature line, standardizing how service data is collected across mortgage applicants. - Lenders and regulators: The Federal Housing Finance Agency Director would have 6 months to issue a rule to implement the URLA change. The bill also clarifies that original lenders are not required to determine borrower eligibility for loans mentioned in the disclosure.
