## Summary

**This bill would create a Golden Mussel Demonstration Program** to research, monitor, and coordinate control of the invasive golden mussel. It focuses activities in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta and other waters the Task Force identifies as at risk. - Universities, nonprofits, and industry partners would be eligible for competitive grants to develop removal technologies and study mussel biology.
