## Summary

**Expands AI training across the executive branch.** This bill would broaden who must take AI training and what the training covers, shifting the program from a narrow acquisition focus to include managers and data or technology staff. - Would require employees in "acquisition positions" as defined in 41 U.S.C. 1703(g)(1)(A) to participate in the program. - Adds management officials, supervisors, and employees in defined "data or technology positions" to required participants. The term "data or technology position" covers roles in the Mathematical Sciences Group or the Information Technology Group as identified by the Office of Personnel Management. - Renames the program lead from "Director" to "Administrator" and empowers that Administrator to coordinate with the Office of Management and Budget and fold AI training into other federal training programs. The training content would cover what AI is, AI capabilities and risks, the role of data in AI, deployment and management considerations, and incorporation of participant feedback into updates.
