## Summary

**Directs the Department of Homeland Security to assess and plan responses to Tren de Aragua's criminal activity at U.S. borders.** It would require a near-term unclassified threat assessment and a follow-up strategic plan to coordinate federal and local actions against that group's transnational threats. - The House and Senate homeland security committees would receive an unclassified threat assessment within 180 days and a strategic plan within one year. - DHS and the intelligence community would analyze origins, strategic aims, tactical methods, funding sources, leadership structure, and the group's growth and U.S. presence. - State, local, Tribal, and territorial law enforcement near the southwest, northern, and maritime borders would be included in required information-sharing and coordination efforts. - The strategic plan must describe efforts to locate, detect, interdict, disrupt, and prevent Tren de Aragua and its affiliates from proliferating in the United States.
