## Summary

**Restricts regular unemployment benefits for workers involved in strikes or labor disputes.** This bill would also repeal a specific Federal Unemployment Tax Act provision and would take effect two years after enactment unless states act sooner. - Workers who participate in, financially support, or have a direct interest in a strike or other labor dispute would be ineligible for regular unemployment compensation for any week their unemployment is caused by that dispute. Lockouts are excluded. - States could amend their laws before the two-year effective date and may implement the changes earlier than the deadline. - The bill repeals paragraph (5) of section 3304(a) of the Internal Revenue Code, removing that specific provision within the Federal Unemployment Tax Act.
