## Summary

**Allows people who get care through the Indian Health Service to use or keep Health Savings Accounts.** The bill would change the Internal Revenue Code so that hospital care or medical services from the Indian Health Service or tribal organizations do not count as being covered by a health plan for HSA eligibility. The rule would apply for taxable years beginning after December 31, 2024.
