## Summary

**Countering Iranian and Hezbollah influence in Latin America.** This bill would require the Secretary of State to deliver, within 180 days of enactment, a comprehensive strategy to disrupt Iranian and Hezbollah propaganda, missionary networks, and influence operations across the region. - Regional partners and media: The strategy would set a framework to disrupt HispanTV and Al Mayadeen Espanol through sanctions, designations, and cooperation with regional governments to limit their broadcasting and digital reach. - Iranian-linked cultural centers and emissaries: It calls for diplomatic efforts, sanctions, and visa or travel restrictions to address the spread of Iranian cultural centers and to restrict diplomats, cultural attachés, and agents who facilitate propaganda or radicalization. It also requires a plan to address the Al Mustafa International University network and affiliated entities, including possible terrorist designations. - U.S. intelligence and civil society cooperation: The strategy would include initiatives to strengthen U.S. intelligence capacity to identify, monitor, and disrupt Iran’s and Hezbollah’s networks, including working with academic institutions and nongovernmental organizations in Latin America.
