## Summary

**Guarantees a consumer's right to paper monthly statements.** This bill would require each covered entity—depository institutions and credit unions—to offer every consumer the option of receiving paper copies of monthly statements and would prohibit conditioning any service on a consumer's exclusive use of electronic monthly statements.
