## Summary

**Sustainable aviation fuel data transparency** is the bill's main goal. This bill would require the Energy Information Administration at the Department of Energy to add SAF information to the Petroleum Supply Monthly, the Weekly Petroleum Status Report, and other EIA reports the Administrator selects as soon as practicable. Required data include feedstock type, origin, and volumes disaggregated by State or Petroleum Administration for Defense District and by the United States. It would also report total SAF produced by State and SAF imported by foreign country. The reporting must use an accounting method that follows reliable statistical sampling and prevents double counting and the term "sustainable aviation fuel" is defined by reference to section 40B(d) of the Internal Revenue Code.
