## Summary

**Visible identification** for immigration enforcement officers during public enforcement actions is required to promote transparency and accountability. The bill sets clear display rules, limits face coverings that hide ID, creates a complaint path, and requires annual reporting to Congress. - Communities and families will see officers display agency and name or badge information that must be legible from at least 25 feet, making it easier to identify officers and submit complaints. - Covered officers, including Customs and Border Protection, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, and personnel deputized under 287(g), must wear agency ID and either their last name or a unique badge number on outer clothing and face administrative discipline for violations. - The Department of Homeland Security must track and report totals on public enforcement actions, documented noncompliance, and disciplinary steps to Congress annually and take administrative action against noncompliant officers. - The Office for Civil Rights and Civil Liberties will receive and investigate complaints, issue compliance recommendations, include findings in its annual public report, and coordinate with the DHS Office of Inspector General.
