## Provisions PRIA read

- Farm research grants extended to 2030: benefit, low. The bill would extend the authority for high-priority farm research and extension programs through 2030. This would let the Agriculture Department keep awarding these grants longer. It does not itself add new funding.
- Grants to fight spotted lanternfly: benefit, low. The bill would allow research and extension grants to develop and share tools to control the spotted lanternfly. Universities and extension programs could apply. Growers and land managers could get better control methods and advice. The bill does not set funding amounts.
