## Summary

**Would let certain retired service members and veterans rated 100% disabled contribute part of their military retired pay or VA disability compensation to the Thrift Savings Fund after separation.** - Eligible former servicemembers could elect to redirect a portion of their retired pay under title 10, chapter 71, or their 100% disability compensation under title 38, section 1114, into the Thrift Savings Fund if they are not federal employees and they had a TSP account before leaving service. - The Federal Retirement Thrift Investment Board would be directed, in coordination with the Department of Defense and the Department of Veterans Affairs, to issue implementing regulations not later than 180 days after enactment.
