## Summary

**Creates a federal review to strengthen the nursing workforce.** This bill would require the Secretary of Health and Human Services and the Secretary of Labor to jointly review grant programs that support nurses and submit recommendations to Congress within 1 year to expand training and faculty pipelines. - Nursing schools and underserved areas would get recommendations to direct grants toward increasing nurse faculty, especially where faculty shortages are worst. - Experienced clinical nurses with more than 10 years of practice would gain recommended pathways to become faculty at schools of nursing. - Licensed practical nurses would see recommended changes to expand pathways for becoming registered nurses, aimed at growing the pipeline into the RN workforce.
