## Summary

**Mandatory passenger notifications for flight delays.** The bill would require covered air carriers to send every passenger an email or text with updated times and an opt-out when a flight is delayed 15 minutes or more. - Passengers: Receive frequent updates by email or text during any delayed departure or taxi delay of 15 minutes or more, including updated estimated departure or arrival times and a way to stop messages. - Covered air carriers: Must notify every passenger at least once every 15 minutes while a qualifying delay persists for domestic and international flights.
