## Summary

**Would require the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) to produce an annual report on firearms trafficked along Interstate 95.** The report would analyze the number of guns trafficked, state of origin, make and model, the effectiveness of current countermeasures and laws, and include recommendations plus any proposed legislative or funding actions. - ATF and state/local law enforcement: The ATF would consult with state and local agencies and other stakeholders to inform the report, giving local officers more detailed data to target trafficking. - Congress and policymakers: Judiciary committees would get yearly analyses and specific legislative and funding proposals to consider for reducing trafficking on the I-95 corridor. - Communities along I-95: Local leaders would receive data on origin states and common makes and models, which could help focus prevention and enforcement efforts. - Reporting scope and resources: The bill would start reporting within one year and require annual updates, while not creating new funding or extra enforcement authority.
