## Summary

**Repeals D.C.'s authority to use automated traffic enforcement systems and to post signs banning right turns on red.** The Stop DC CAMERA Act would repeal the authority in Section 9e of the District of Columbia Traffic Act of 1925 (D.C. Code sec. 50-2201.04e) that allows automated traffic enforcement. It would also repeal the authority in Title IX of the Fiscal Year 1997 Budget Support Act of 1996 (D.C. Code sec. 50-2209.01) that permits signage prohibiting right turns on red.
