## Summary

**No-fee early lease termination for survivors of domestic violence.** This bill would let applicants and tenants in housing covered by the Violence Against Women Act end leases early if they are victims of domestic violence, dating violence, sexual assault, or stalking. Landlords and housing providers for those covered programs may not charge an early-termination fee to tenants or applicants who leave for those safety reasons.
