## Summary

**This bill would require a _trackable accountability measure_ on immigration-status documents mailed by the U.S. Postal Service.** Within 180 days the Secretary of Homeland Security would issue a rule requiring that documents the Secretary identifies as mailed through the Postal Service include either a Postal Service barcode that allows each document to be tracked or a recipient signature for items dispatched from United States Citizenship and Immigration Services facilities, and the rule would not apply to documents presented in person.
