## Summary

**Bring AI literacy into medical training.** This bill would create a Health Resources and Services Administration grant program to help medical schools and residency programs teach AI skills, clinical integration, and ethics to students, residents, and faculty. - Medical students and residents would receive competency-based AI education covering diagnostics, treatment recommendations, predictive analytics, clinical decision-making, and ethical issues through simulations, case studies, and practical labs. - Medical schools and residency sponsoring institutions could get competitive grants up to $100,000 per recipient per fiscal year, may renew awards, and may use up to 10% of funds for administrative costs. - Schools that serve medically underserved communities get priority and the program must seek geographic diversity, with no more than two awards in the same 2020 U.S. Census Division. - Grant recipients must report program goals, progress, expenditures, and learner enrollment annually and publish funded educational materials within 30 days to share tools and curricula with the broader medical education community. *Would authorize $1.0 million per year from 2026 through 2030 to carry out the program.*
