## Summary

**Creates a Lung Cancer Task Force to examine and reduce disparities in research, funding, and patient access.** Based at the National Institutes of Health and including at least one representative each from the National Cancer Institute and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's National Comprehensive Cancer Control Program, it would review disease burden, federal research funding, and screening rates and deliver a report to Congress within 180 days with findings and recommendations, including options to increase federal funding for lung cancer research.
