**Report on DoD follow-on production under section 4022** would require the Secretary of Defense to analyze prototype transactions from October 1, 2020 to October 1, 2025 and deliver a report to the congressional defense committees within 180 days of enactment. The report would list the number of prototype transactions, the number that had options for follow-on production, and for each follow-on provide status, contractor performance, and total award value, plus assess trends or barriers and recommend ways to increase successful transitions to production.
