## Summary

**Authorizes disinterment of Fernando V. Cota's remains from Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.** The bill would require the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to carry out the disinterment within one year of enactment and to notify Cota's next of kin before acting. After disinterment the Secretary would relinquish the remains to any next of kin who respond to the notice or, if none respond, arrange their disposition as the Secretary determines appropriate.
