## Summary

**This bill would prohibit the non-consensual administration of abortion-inducing drugs.** It would create a federal crime and a civil cause of action for knowingly giving such drugs without a pregnant woman's informed consent. - Pregnant women would gain a federal civil remedy to sue for physical and psychological injuries and seek statutory damages equal to three times the cost of those injuries plus punitive damages. Courts must award reasonable attorney's fees to prevailing plaintiffs. - Health professionals and anyone who supplies or administers the drugs would face federal fines and up to 25 years in prison for knowingly administering an abortion-inducing drug without informed consent. The bill explicitly includes drugs such as mifepristone and misoprostol. - If the non-consensual administration causes serious bodily injury or death, offenders would face an additional prison term up to 25 years or a fine on top of the base penalty. The bill also criminalizes attempts and conspiracies and defines conspiring to include selling, shipping, or giving a drug without taking reasonable steps to verify the requester is a pregnant woman seeking an abortion.
