## Summary

**Collects dual-citizenship status on the decennial census.** This bill would require the decennial census questionnaire to include a checkbox for each person in every household to indicate dual U.S. and another-country citizenship and to identify that other country. - Families and households: Every household would see a question for each member asking if they hold U.S. citizenship and citizenship of another country and to name that country. - Researchers and state planners: Federal and state data users would gain systematic, nationwide dual-citizenship data linked to state population totals for the 2030 census and every decennial census after. - Census operations: The census questionnaire framework used to determine state population counts would be changed to add this checkbox beginning with the 2030 decennial census.
