## Summary

**This bill would reinstate a special rate calculation and raise the per-gallon clean fuel credit for sustainable aviation fuel.** It would set two tiered credit rates, tighten the SAF definition, and extend the credit period. - SAF producers would get higher per-gallon credits, set at 35 cents per gallon and $1.75 per gallon for two categories of qualified facilities. - The bill narrows what qualifies as sustainable aviation fuel by requiring ASTM standards and excluding fuels derived from palm fatty acid distillates or petroleum. - It changes timing rules so the credit applies to fuel produced after Dec. 31, 2025 and moves the sale cutoff date to fuel sold after Dec. 31, 2033, extending when facilities can claim the credit.
