**Ends the Social Security and Medicare waiting periods for people with young-onset Alzheimer's.** This bill would let people diagnosed with young-onset Alzheimer's get Social Security Disability Insurance without the usual five-month wait and get Medicare sooner by waiving the 24-month Medicare waiting period. - People with young-onset Alzheimer's would be eligible for Social Security Disability Insurance without the usual 5-month wait.
