The bill would require the United States Postal Service to build and maintain an interactive web tool showing each covered post office with its street address, the suspension start date, the reason for the suspension, alternative services including how to request curbside delivery, the nearest retail facility and its hours, and an estimated reopen date when practicable. The site must allow searches by street address, ZIP Code, or post office box, be searchable and sortable, provide bulk download and open structured data to the extent practicable, and be operational within one year after enactment.
