## Summary

**Creates a Congressional Gold Medal honoring Nick Shirley.** This bill would cite Shirley's December 26, 2025 42-minute investigative post on X that reported mass fraud in the Minnesota Somali population and alleged uncovering of more than $110 million in one day, and would say his reporting led to federal funding being halted to fraudulent Minnesota businesses. It would authorize the presentation of a gold medal, direct the Treasury to strike the medal, allow bronze duplicates to be sold to cover costs, designate the medals as national and numismatic items under federal law, and charge costs and deposit duplicate-sale proceeds to the United States Mint Public Enterprise Fund.
