## Summary

**This bill would ban the use of the term "birthing person" by federal agencies in any official document and require agencies to use specified female-oriented terms.** It would allow only the terms "female", "mother", "pregnant female", "pregnant woman", or "woman" to refer to someone who is pregnant, giving birth, or a parent of a child.
