## Summary

**Creates an annual, public report that makes the National Cemetery Administration's burial counts, memorials, grants, maps, and construction plans transparent.** The report would list interments by each open national cemetery, by eligible-person category and by casketed versus cremated remains, and it would include customer satisfaction data, cemetery maps, counts of memorial items furnished, completed and planned construction projects, unclaimed remains, and details on grants to State and tribal cemeteries. Initial and subsequent reports must be provided to the House and Senate Committees on Veterans' Affairs and posted in digital form on a public Department of Veterans Affairs website. - Veterans and families would gain clearer public records about burial counts, available burial options, and what headstones or memorials were provided. - Members and staff of the House and Senate Veterans' Affairs Committees would receive annual, disaggregated data to track service levels and grant spending, with the first report due within one year and then yearly. - State, county, and tribal cemetery grantees would see each grant listed with the recipient, amount, and stated purposes. - The National Cemetery Administration would have to publish maps, customer-satisfaction metrics, and summaries of completed and planned construction projects to inform planning and transparency.
