## Summary

**Authority to recover VA awards, bonuses, and relocation payments from former employees.** It would let the Secretary recoup those amounts if a VA order is upheld and the former employee does not repay within 180 days after the Director issues a final decision. - Former employees: Individuals who received awards, bonuses, or relocation payments could be required to repay those amounts if a Secretary order is upheld and they fail to pay within 180 days. - VA leadership and federal collections: The Secretary would be able to collect unpaid amounts in the same manner as other debts due to the United States.
