## Summary

**Standardized, evidence-based extreme risk protection order training.** This bill would create the Community Risk Training and Response Act of 2026 to fund one-year grants that help States develop uniform training, curricula, and model implementation materials for law enforcement, prosecutors, judges and court staff, healthcare providers, educators, and agencies that coordinate extreme risk protection orders. - States and grantees: Would receive one-year grants sized at $200,000 to $500,000 each to develop standardized training and model implementation materials. - Law enforcement, prosecutors, and courts: Would get technical assistance and shared curricula to support timely, consistent crisis intervention court proceedings. - Healthcare providers and educators: Would gain tailored training resources to identify risks and work with courts and coordinators. - Agencies coordinating extreme risk protection orders: Would get support to build evidence-based, statewide implementation processes and materials that can be adopted by local partners.
