## Summary

**Reimburses rental car costs for reserve component members who travel more than 150 miles for inactive-duty training or Ready Reserve muster duty.** It would let eligible uniformed service members be paid for actual and necessary vehicle rental expenses for the entire training period and for one travel day before or after. The bill would also require the Secretary of Defense to update the Joint Travel Regulations within 180 days to put the change into effect.
