## Summary

**Would automatically refund tariffs and duties collected under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act on or after January 1, 2025 to importers of record.** The bill would require the Commissioner of U.S. Customs and Border Protection to liquidate or reliquidate those entries and disburse refunds within 90 days after enactment. Refunds would be automatic and would not require any importer application or protest. The Commissioner would use CBP’s existing information to calculate and pay amounts, would treat withdrawals from warehouse for consumption as entries, and would override conflicting laws as needed to meet the deadline.
