## Summary

**This bill would require a government-wide study of how data centers affect low-income communities and communities of color.** It would require federal agencies to collect coordinated data on energy, water, air, land use, jobs, taxes, property values, and public health and deliver a report to Congress within 18 months. - Residents in vulnerable communities. Would measure risks like air pollution, water stress, heat island effects, and changes to property values. The bill notes data centers used about 4.4% of U.S. electricity in 2023 and about 17 billion gallons of water for cooling in 2023. - Local governments and Indian Tribes.
