## Summary

**Uniform testing and certification for ADS-B OUT transponders on DoD aircraft.** This bill would create a formal program to verify ADS-B OUT systems used by Department of Defense aircraft in U.S. airspace. - DoD operations: Requires the Secretary of Defense to set uniform standards and ensure testing and certification of ADS-B OUT systems at least once every 90 days for aircraft operating in U.S. airspace. - Congressional oversight: Requires reports to Congress not later than 180 days after enactment and every 180 days thereafter until two years after enactment describing the testing conducted and any failures. - Inspector General review: Requires the Department of Defense Inspector General to audit compliance not later than one year after enactment and again by two years after enactment, and to recommend whether the reporting and audit requirements should be extended.
