## Summary

**This bill would create federal programs to advance _maternal health equity_ by funding community-based services, bias-reduction training, and hospital compliance efforts for groups with higher pregnancy-related risks.** - Pregnant and postpartum people from racial and ethnic minority groups would get expanded community supports like maternal mental health and substance use services, group prenatal or postpartum care, perinatal health workers, midwifery supports, and help during infant formula shortages. - Community-based organizations would be eligible for a new HHS grant program that starts with a 1-year outreach and technical assistance phase and is authorized at $100 million per year for FY2027 through FY2031. The program must report an evaluation to Congress by FY2031. - Hospitals and health systems would be able to get grants to build Respectful Maternity Care compliance programs that track and publicly report bias complaints and responses.
