## Summary

**Standardize roadway practices for inclement weather.** This bill would require the Department of Transportation and the National Weather Service to form an interagency working group to develop those best practices and deliver them to Congress. - Department leaders would establish a joint working group within 180 days to draft best practices for roadway management during inclement weather. - State and local road managers would receive recommended procedures to guide roadway operations during storms and severe weather. - The working group would submit those best practices to the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and the Senate Commerce, Science, and Transportation Committee within 180 days after the practices are finalized.
