## Summary

**STEM training for U.S. Foreign Service officers.** This bill would add required science, technology, engineering, and math training aimed at helping diplomats use emerging tech and counter hostile uses of technology. - New Foreign Service officers would receive the training as part of the A-100 orientation course every new officer attends. - Officers who already completed A-100 would have to finish the full training within 18 months or a condensed version within 270 days. - The State Department, through the George P.
