## Summary

**Expand oversight of credit and SBA outreach for veteran and reservist small businesses.** The bill would require the Small Business Administration to include a detailed report on the Veterans Interagency Task Force with its budget justification and would direct the Government Accountability Office to produce a study, due within one year, on credit access for veterans, Reservists, and their spouses. - Veteran and military-spouse entrepreneurs get a required SBA outreach plan that must explicitly list major veteran-focused programs such as Veteran Business Outreach Centers and Boots to Business. - Small businesses owned by veterans, service-disabled veterans, Reservists, or their spouses would be the focus of a GAO study that analyzes credit sources, default rates by source, federal lending options, gaps in credit, obstacles including deployment effects on credit history, and awareness of federal help. - The SBA must report on Veterans Interagency Task Force appointments and activities, giving policymakers clearer oversight of veteran-focused efforts. - The bill includes a budget constraint that bars any new appropriations to carry out its requirements.
