**Creates an Electric Vehicle Fire Response Working Group** that would gather EV fire incident data and issue public best practices to improve how firefighters, towing operators, and industry respond to EV fires. The group would centralize lessons from roadside EV incidents and produce yearly public reports. - Emergency responders: Fire and EMS would get periodically updated best practices and guidance based on continuous review of risks, response procedures, and incident outcomes. - Towing and roadside operators: The towing industry is guaranteed representation on the group so towing practices and recovery challenges are considered in guidance and data collection. - Vehicle and charging industries: Automakers, battery makers, bus and commercial EV manufacturers, and EV supply equipment firms would help shape standards and training through at least 6 automotive-sector seats. - Public data and transparency: Reported roadside incidents would feed the National Emergency Response Information System with location, time, scene conditions, response actions, and results, and the group must publish an annual public report. - Federal setup and timeline: The Secretary would stand up the group within 90 days, fund administrative support from existing Department of Transportation funds, members would serve without pay, and the group would terminate after 10 years.
