## Summary

**Bans use of Land and Water Conservation Fund money to buy land or water from private owners.** The bill would add subsection (l) to 54 U.S.C. 200305 to bar any State receiving assistance under that section from using those funds to acquire land, water, or interests from a private landowner and would amend 54 U.S.C. 200306(b) to state that appropriations from the Fund may not be used for acquisitions from private landowners.
