## Summary

**Extend Subpart H safety rules to centralized dispatch and control boards.** This bill would require the Secretary of Transportation to amend 49 C.F.R. §236.911 within 30 days after enactment so that the requirements in Subpart H of part 236 apply to existing and any future deployments of centralized computer-aided train-dispatching systems and centralized traffic control boards. The change would bring the safety and oversight standards already in Subpart H to centralized systems and boards that manage rail traffic.
