## Summary

**Government-wide antifraud and improper payment prevention training** would create a standardized, mandatory training program for federal program administrators and oversight staff to reduce fraud and improper payments. The program would be administered by the Treasury and the Office of Management and Budget with Office of Personnel Management support, and it would be available at no cost to State, local, and Tribal administrators of Federally funded programs. - Agency oversight staff must complete the Program within 180 days of appointment or within 180 days of the program start if already serving, and then at least once every 2 years. This applies to program officers, financial managers, certifying officials, auditors, grants managers, and similar roles. - State, local, and Tribal employees or contractors who run Federal programs can access the training for free, and Treasury may provide technical assistance to help integrate the program into local systems. - The Office of Personnel Management must provide certification and records of completion. Treasury and OMB must report to congressional oversight committees starting 2 years after enactment and then annually on participation and effectiveness.
