## Summary

**Repeal of Temporary Protected Status authority.** This bill would repeal Section 244 of the Immigration and Nationality Act and remove the federal authority to grant Temporary Protected Status, ending the TPS program. It would terminate any existing TPS grants on enactment and require affected noncitizens to depart the United States within 60 days, after which they would no longer be considered lawfully present.
