## Summary

**Stronger, regular audits of DoD compliance with domestic food supply chain requirements.** This bill would require the Department of Defense Inspector General to audit how well the DoD follows section 4862 for procurement of the items described in subsection (b)(1)(A). Audits must begin within 90 days and then occur on a quarterly basis. - DoD procurement and logistics offices would be reviewed to determine their compliance with the specified domestic food sourcing rules. - The Department of Defense Inspector General would produce audit findings and send reports to the House and Senate Armed Services Committees within 60 days after each audit, giving lawmakers recurring oversight.
